What is your business?

"We are Battery World Australia.

We sell batteries for everything from your car to your solar battery set up to your mobile phones and cameras.

Where are you located?

We are located in Brisbane. We have 111 stores Australia-wide.

What do you love about the business and what you do?

What I love about the business is giving people the opportunity to set their own salaries to be able to run a business for themselves and to be able to have the lovely lifestyle that they choose.

What do you look for in the right-fit person to be a franchise owner?

The right type of person is someone that's willing to give it a go. Someone that embraces working for themselves and loves their work.

We have franchise partners that bounce to work every day because they just love what they're doing.

What’s a common misconception you believe people have about your brand or niche?

The common misconception is that you have to know everything about batteries, and you don't have to know anything.

We will teach you everything that you need to know.

What would be your advice for people looking to get into their own business?

Absolutely. Do your due diligence.

Have a look around and see what's out there in the market, have a look at what everyone is offering and decide for yourself what business you'd like to partner with.

What is your key focus for the next 12-18 months?

Key focus for the next 12 to 18 months is to get out into areas where we haven't been before and to develop our brand."
