Snap Fitness franchise business Q & A

Gabe Condello, National Sales and Development Manager of Snap Fitness, joined us for a brief chat at the Sydney Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo, August 2022.

We covered some of the key aspects of the Snap Fitness franchise business including the type of people that are best suited, any common misconceptions about the brand or industry, as well as what he loves about what he does and more..

What is your business?

“We're a 24/7 health and fitness franchise.

Where are you located?

Head Office is located in Brisbane, but we're Australia wide.

What do you love about the business and what you do?

I love the fact that we can bring in new franchisees and usually mum and dads or new investors, and help them become business owners and get involved in their community and and have that financial freedom to be successful.

What do you look for in the right-fit person to be a franchise owner, can you describe them?

So we're looking for those people that want to take the next step and own their own business and deliver a premium health club in their community.

What’s a common misconception you believe people have about your brand or niche?

Yeah, one of them is misconceptions would be you don't have to be a health guru to own a health business.

You can actually just be a mum and dad, or you could be a professional and just want to have something on the side and and make a difference to your community.

What would your advice or guidance be to people looking to get into their own business?

I definitely say do your research, make sure you connect with other franchisees in the in the industry or other business owners in a similar industry.

Find out what works for them, what doesn't work, and then execute your results from there.

What is your key focus for the next 12-18 months?

Yeah, for the next 12 to 18 months, we're just focusing on supporting our current franchisees and continuing to help them to adapt to the market conditions.

And also, we have a huge focus on on growth in the network at the moment and we're continuing that on down the path.”
