Quest supports the health system in covid pandemic

Quest Supports The Health System In Covid Pandemic Paul Constantinou Quest Founder And Executive Chairman

After leading the way in mid to late March to offer properties for the purposes of quarantine and self-isolation, Quest Apartment Hotels demonstrated a high degree of insight into the covid-19 crisis. This was coupled with fast-action to offer services to the health system, which also acted in support of their franchise network.

In doing so, it’s putting franchise partners in the best possible position for the future, given the predicted low occupancy rates in the coming months.

Expecting occupancy levels in the coming months to drop below 10%, the shift from corporate travel to public health accommodation services is crucial.

“Quarantine facilities can be used to isolate people and open up our hospital beds to more serious cases. The scale of isolation is unlike anything we’ve ever seen, so we must open up our hotels during this emergency.” explains Paul Constantinou, Quest Founder and Executive Chairman.

“While domestic and international travel bans are in place, we must look at other ways to support our franchisees,”.

A message from Quest franchise partners

In another excellent initiative, the company recently released a message produced with a number of franchise partners in the business (see below).

We've also seen more impromptu videos of franchise partners delivering urgent slabs of beer to people in isolation in a knock on the door and run style of production :-)

Striking the right tone in messaging to the market at this time can also be a challenge, and once again, this demonstrates a business well and truly on top of it's game and adapting to the fast-moving marketplace.
