At the Melbourne Franchising and Business Opportunities Expo, 2022, Donut King showed off their full coffee van concept.

Rob from Donut King took us on a quick tour to show us through all the features of the van. The van has many of the features we've come to know and see in many other coffee vans on the market. But what did stand out was the thought behind the multiple storage options for franchise owners in the van.

"G’day guys. Welcome to Donut King Mobile. Many of you may not know that we do mobile, but here it is, let's go.

Hot cinnamon donut side

So, this is your wash-up area for your hands. You got your paper towel, your soap. 

This is where the hot cinnamon donuts will be. During Monday to Friday trade, (this is for display, obviously, only,) but we'll be having meat pies, sausage rolls, and all that good stuff there. And this is also a bit of a storage area here. 

So if we (have)dry goods…they really thought about everything. 

Come around here. And now, we're here at the back of the van where all of the action happens. 

The coffee machine and drink production

So, here we’ve got our Brugnetti coffee machine, which is a Giulia version. We've got the F64 pro-grinder, and we've got the puck press, which just makes everything so much better. 

Here we've got our point of sale system, which then does all your money, which you'll be making as well as also an interaction portal for your customers as well. We've got a drawer here which provides all our coffee equipment and all that sort of stuff to be made. We've got a fridge, which is also handy.

Blender, syrups. We've got a jug rinser here, which makes life a whole lot easier. 

Fridge, battery and storage

And come back around over here. And now we're on the side of where the fridge is and where all our donuts will be displayed. 

So if you just have a look over here, this is where all the donuts are here, boxed up and everything. You also have sandwiches, wraps, rolls, as well as salads, and yogurts, and stuff like that.

This is our power supply unit which is lithium batteries, and they will last the whole day and then some. 

And through here, we have our supplies, which is where you can put your milks, your ice, your extra stuff for donuts and whatnot. 

So, everything's nice. It's accessible. It's out of the way. We've also got areas for cups to store, and it's very neat. 

As you can see, you probably didn't even know it was there, but it is there. And again, around this side, as well, there's more areas for storage as well.
