Beare Flooring, Mobile Franchise Q & A, with William Beare

Founder of Beare Flooring, William Beare, filled us in with some quick key details about the brand in the Australian marketplace.

A mobile franchise offer that focuses on previous or current flooring showroom professionals, who are keen to have a business of their own.

The brand

We're Beare Flooring.

We're a mobile flooring franchise.

So we go straight out to the customer's house with the mobile showroom and do the quotes for them whilst we're there.

Where is Beare Flooring located?

We're currently operating throughout Queensland.

We're starting to look at Sydney as well.

What do you love about what you do?

I love being able to help people with their flooring and really my focus is helping with the franchisees getting out of the showrooms and really making a difference in people's lives.

Who is the ideal franchise candidate for a Beare Flooring franchise?

Our ideal candidate would be an experienced flooring sales representative or middle management, who's currently sitting in a showroom ready to take a step into business ownership themselves.

Yeah, we would absolutely entertain talking to people who didn't have flooring experience, but it is absolutely preferred.

Key thing to know about the Beare Flooring franchise offer.

So I think the key thing we want to tell people about the franchise offer is that the cost of entry is dramatically lower than the traditional franchise.

The overheads are lower, they're profitable businesses.

You work by yourself from home.

It's really, really easy to get up and running.

But I think the main difference, obviously, is being a mobile showroom.

The cost entry with the vehicle is less than doing a showroom fit out.

Then you just don't find yourself sitting around all day waiting for customers to come in.

What people get wrong about getting into a flooring business or franchise.

I think people traditionally have thought they need hundreds of thousands of dollars to get into a flooring business. But what?

The model that we're doing with the mobile showroom has just completely abolished that.

The cost entry is much less than what you'd think.

Key focus going forward.

I mean, obviously we'd like to bring on more franchise partners, but our focus is on them.

And sure, their businesses are running smooth software and continuing to develop to help them with their day to day.

Advice for people considering getting into business.

My advice would be that it can be a bit daunting to begin with.

Just simply making that first step is often the best way to do it.

Just get out there and have a go."
